Why I love music: "I have been singing since I was about 6 years old, which was right around the time my parents got divorced. Even at a young age, music was a way to not only express myself but its an indescribable feeling when you find lyrics you either can relate to or can feel what the artists feels through their words. I was a part of an all girls choir for 10 years, which allowed me to sing both in and out of the United States, even in different languages. One of the greatest moments of that group was being able to perform at Carnegie Hall. Music is and will always will be a significant part of my life, so any chance I get, I will sing."
Why I love music: "Music is the soundtrack of my life. It's my outlet for self expression... The threads of my emotion, and my way of communication."
Why I love music: "I love music because it is timeless. No matter how many years after I am gone, my music will always exist. It is an outlet for me to tell stories, share emotions, and connect with people on a creative level. I also love to inspire and use my music as a message to show that anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it and apply hard work and dedication."
Why I love music: "The reason why I love music is simple. Ever since I was little I've been surrounded by powerful and uplifting musical influences spanning multiple genres. I devoted my life to the strings section and honed my passion for singing into my own craft. Also, being biracial (Black and Puerto Rican) helps me broaden my musical perspective to deliver the best of both worlds to my audience. "
Why I love music: "Music is literally what saved me. It takes everything I feel that I can't say out loud and turns it into something beautiful that I can be proud of. It offers so much healing and really helped me figure out my purpose and what I was meant to do."
Why I love music: " Music is what feels like home to me. Music is where I feel safe, where I can get through any situation through melody. I love sharing the joy music brings me, and the joy I can bring to others through the music."
